Arsenal could have been even busier in the summer transfer window if a fresh report is to be believed.
The Gunnersmade eight signings during the summer window as Mikel Arteta looks to win a major trophy this term.
Eberechi Eze, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Piero Hincapie and Kepa Arrizabalaga all moved to the Emirates Stadium this summer. However, it seems that another player was under consideration by the Gunners.

Tuttosport have reported that Juventus star Kenan Yildiz was wanted by Arsenal during the summer transfer window. It has also been claimed that Chelsea also expressed an interest in signing the Turkey international.
The report goes on to say, though, that despite Arsenal expressing an interest in Yildiz, Juventus considered the forward "unsellable", which saw the possibility of a move to the Gunners brought to a swift end.
Yildiz plays on the left wing for Juventus but has also shown the ability to play on the right or through the middle for the Serie A giants. A move for Yildiz would likely have seen increased speculation around the futures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, who both operate in the same role.
Yildiz is valued at 50million (£43.3million), according to Transfermarkt, and is under contract at Juventus until the summer of 2029. It remains to be seen if the interest from Arsenal was genuine and if they would consider returning to the Italian club for a potential deal for Yildiz in the future.
In two appearances in Serie A so far this season, Yildiz has provided two assists for Juventus but is yet to score his first goal of the campaign.
