Jamie Carragher branded Moises Caicedo a "monster" as the Chelsea midfielder played a major part in his side's opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
Enzo Maresca and his side made the short trip to north London on Saturday evening to take on the Lilywhites, and it didn't take the Blues long to gain an advantage.
While Lucas Bergvall was deployed in the engine room by Thomas Frank from the outset, he was subbed off just seven minutes into the match after being hit in the side of the head by a volleyed clearance from Enzo Fernandez.

Xavi Simons entered the fray as a replacement as Spurs' evening went from bad to worse ahead of half-time when they went 1-0 down via Joao Pedro.
And while the Brazilian did well to put the ball past a swiping Guglielmo Vicario, it was Caicedo's efforts in the build-up which caught Sky Sports commentator Carragher's eye.
The Ecuadorian midfielder won the ball off Djed Spence in the centre of the park, but Mickey van den Ven was quick to recover it. However, showing determination, Caicedo ran the Dutchman down to force an error on the edge of his own box, before running it into the area.
As Kevin Danso approached to put a last-ditch tackle in, Caicedo squared it to Pedro - who was poised on the six yard box to tuck it into the top left corner of the net before wheeling off in celebration.
As replays of the goal showed, Carragher wasted no time in giving Caicedo his flowers. He said: "Well this is one of those goals that is not really about the goal-scorer.
"He does really well to finish it, he’ll be delighted. But this is all about Caicedo. He is an absolute monster in midfield, that man.
“Challenge after challenge, they’ve struggled all afternoon Tottenham with that build-up, but especially with Caicedo winning the ball. He won it back once, they get it back again Tottenham. He wins it again, and then another challenge he wins.
“Here we go, that’s number one. Then they lose it but he doesn’t stop. Look at him, he goes after a big centre-back, takes it off him. Danso comes across, beats him to a challenge and then that’s where the finish comes from.
"But that goal was all about Moises Caicedo, absolutely fantastic. And that is exactly what Chelsea have deserved, and he’ll be delighted with these first 36 minutes, the manager."
As footage of Frank was shown kicking a bottle in frustration in the aftermath of the goal, Carragher then joked: "That was a stronger challenge than his defenders put in."
