Big news has come for lakhs of candidates preparing for government jobs. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the city intimation slip for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. Now candidates can know in which city their exam will be held. To see this information, candidates have to visit the official website of the commission ssc.gov.in, and login.
When will the exam be held?
Earlier this exam was to be conducted from 13 August to 30 August 2025, but the commission later postponed it. Now according to the new dates, SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted from 12 September 2025 to 26 September 2025 at examination centers across the country. The special thing is that during this period the exam will also be held on Saturday and Sunday.
When will the admit cards be issued?
Another important information related to the exam is that the admit cards will be made available for download 2 to 3 days before the exam date. That is, if a candidate's exam is on September 15, then his admit card will be issued on 12 or 13 September. The admit card will contain the full address of the exam center, reporting time and all the necessary instructions.

Click on the SSC CGL City Intimation Slip 2025 link on the homepage.
Enter your registration number and password/date of birth on the login page.
As soon as you submit, the information about your exam city will appear on the screen.
Take a printout of it and save it.
What to keep in mind at the exam center?
Candidates will be required to bring a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
Entry will not be given under any circumstances without admit card and ID proof.
It would be better to reach the exam center before the scheduled time.
It is important to follow all the instructions written on the admit card.
Strict action will be taken against bringing any kind of electronic gadgets or prohibited items during the exam.
