When are banks closed for Chhath Puja?

These two days will be celebrated as Chhath Puja and Chhath Puja (morning offerings), respectively. In West Bengal, banks will be closed only on October 27, 2025, for Chhath Puja. The holiday applies only to the respective states and not nationwide. In other states, banks will continue to operate as usual.
Online Banking Operations Continue
Although banks will be closed for Chhath, customers can continue to use all digital banking services, including internet banking, mobile apps, UPI payments, and ATM cash withdrawals. This ensures that essential transactions like bill payments, fund transfers, and online shopping can be completed without interruption.
