The much-awaited 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is expected to be released in the first week of November 2025, as per recent reports. This means that registered farmers could soon receive ₹2,000 directly in their bank accounts under the Central Government’s flagship direct benefit transfer scheme.
Although there has been no official confirmation yet from the government, previous trends suggest that the installment is often transferred first and officially announced later. The PM Kisan scheme continues to be one of the most impactful initiatives for small and marginal farmers, providing crucial financial assistance at regular intervals.
What Is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?Under the PM Kisan Yojana, every registered farmer receives ₹6,000 annually as direct income support. This amount is transferred in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every four months, directly into farmers’ bank accounts.
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial stability to small and marginal farmers, ensuring that they can afford essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
