In today's time, the problem of hormone imbalance is being seen in many people. This is a condition in which the level of a hormone in the body becomes more or less than normal. Due to this, one may have to face problems related to mental and physical health. Even problems like pimples and a bad mood also occur. The biggest reason for hormone imbalance is our deteriorating lifestyle and wrong eating habits.

People take a lot of stress to manage their work, personal life, and many other things. Everyone has problems in their life; many people face them with a smile, while many people keep thinking about them day and night. Everything, whether it is important or not. They think a lot about it, which is also called overthinking. This also affects our body. Let's know from the experts how overthinking affects hormones.
What do the experts say?
Senior Consultant, Psychology, Dr. Prashant Goyal at Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute, Delhi, said that overthinking, that is, thinking about the same thing again and again, has a bad effect on the hormones of our body. When we are under stress continuously or for a long time, a hormone called cortisol increases in our body, which is also called the stress hormone. This hormone helps the body to stay alert, but if it remains in high quantities for a long time, it can be harmful to health.
An increase in cortisol leads to poor sleep quality, changes in appetite, and can cause weight gain or loss. Apart from this, stress affects the insulin hormone, which causes an imbalance in blood sugar levels. Overthinking also increases adrenaline in the body, which increases the heartbeat and can increase blood pressure. Apart from this, mental health can also be affected. Problems like stress, anxiety, and depression increase due to a hormonal imbalance. Therefore, overthinking should be reduced.

Experts say that to control overthinking, one should do relaxation, meditation, or exercise. This can prevent many diseases. Because stress and hormonal imbalance can cause many health related diseases. Along with this, take a balanced diet and make sure to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep at the right time every night.
