Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The team of the state excise department raided the house and the shop of a man and recovered beer and country liquor stored there illegally, an excise officer said on Thursday.
The value of the seized liquor, including beer, is Rs 21000. The liquor supplier was also arrested from his place.
On the instructions of assistant excise officer Abhishek Tiwari, controller Devesh Chatrurvedi and deputy controller Manoj Agrawal constituted a team of excise sub inspector Jaya Mujalde from excise circle number 2 which raided the house and the grocery shop of Kamal Malviya in Bijalpur area recently and recovered a plastic bag containing 184 quarters of country liquor, 24 bottles of beer and other liquor bottles.

The excise officials claimed that they had also done the videography of the scene. The accused is a liquor supplier and he was also arrested by the Rajendra Nagar police and the excise department in the past.
