Tirupati: A massive fire broke out in the Hisar Express near Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati on Monday. The train was running from Rajasthan to Tirupati. The blaze triggered an emergency response from railway officials.
After receiving the information, fire tenders rushed to the spot. A firefighting operation is currently underway. As per the Railway PRO, the incident took place at the Tirupati Railway Station yard.
Dramatic visuals of the blaze surfaced online. In the video, an envelope of Black smoke could be seen engulfing the train.

"A fire broke out in the stationary train coaches of the Hisar Express and Rayalaseema Express at the Tirupati Railway Station yard. The flames spread to two coaches of both trains while they were stationed at the railway yard," the PRO said, as reported by ANI.

"Railway staff successfully detached the remaining coaches, preventing further damage," the PRO added. No casualties have been reported.
According to reports, a Vande Bharat train running on the parallel track was halted on time to avoid tragedy.
