It's quite common for people to ditch their hometown in favour of a new experience. In recent months, we've heard a lot about Americans living in the UK and their experiences across the pond with pubs, Sunday roasts and pretty much everything British.
Now one woman who has been living in London for sometime couldn't resist slating one region of the capital in a post with her 1,700 TikTok followers. The social media user, who calls herself 'Cricket' on the platform, revealed how north London feels like a "third world country" to her but has only nice things to say about south.
Her caption read: "South London 'till the wheels off for me." In the video, she wrote at the top of the clip: "North London is a third world country."

But then she launched into a 30-second long vent about north London and her experiences.
She began: "Now that I'm back in my ends. As an American living in London, why didn't anyone tell me that north London, first of all, is so far."
The user then joked: "I had to take two boats, one ferry and a plane ride to get there."
And she didn't stop there...
"Second of all, it doesn't even feel like, it feels like a third world country, it doesn't even feel like..." she remarked.
"The aura is just off a bit, I don't know, erm I wish I've got more info on that."
Funnily enough, many people couldn't help but agree with her in the comments section as one said: "South is the best."
While another added: "No way, south is defo on top." A third laughed: "Two boats."
Meanwhile, it wasn't all hate in the comments section as one reassured the user that some places in north London are worth giving a go.
"Depends where you go, north London is really big not everywhere is the same," one user chimed in.
There are many places to explore in north London with affluent villages like Hampstead and Highgate to really enjoy.
For those who love artistic and trendy areas can visit the food markets in Camden Town, have a pint in Islington or even take a stroll in Finsbury Park. Other areas include West Hampstead, Crouch End, Muswell Hill and, of course, King's Cross for a bit of history.
Meanwhile football fans who support either Arsenal or Spurs will tell you it's all about the North London Derby.
