Morrisons,John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, and Argos have already released their 2025 adverts on mainstream TV - and they've been met with a mixed reaction. Coming in at number one is the 2013 John Lewis advert for a mixture of reasons. Firstly, the song choice was simply beautiful. It was a Lily Allen cover of Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" that soared to the top of the charts following the advert's release. And the advert was a real tear-jerker centred around a bear who hibernates and misses Christmas each year. However, his dear friend, a hare, gives him an alarm clock as a festive gift so they can celebrate the special day together. It's just so heartwarming.
