M1 traffic LIVE: Chaos on major motorway as crash sparks 50-minute delays

Motorists faced traffic woes on the M1 on Thursday morning following a road traffic collision. Delays of up to 50 minutes were recorded on the motorway northbound between junctions 12 and 13.

All lanes later reopened at around 10.15am but delays remained, leaving drivers in rush hour mysery.
