Meghan Markle is cashing in on a new festive product hinting at her royal connections under her brand, As Ever. In a new festive release, Meghan unveiled a new candle inspired by the "ease and joy" of her wedding day.
Signature Candle No. 519, priced at $64 (£50) and scented with Moroccan mint, cardamom and tea leaves, appears to play heavily on her time spent in the Royal Family by claiming to "evoke the freshness of a day in the English countryside", according to a description on her website. It plays on the Duchess of Sussex's memories of her wedding day at St George's Chapel, and being "surrounded by love and laughter". Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry in Windsor on 19 May, 2018.
The description also reads: "This signature candle is inspired by the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan's most cherished memories-her wedding day."
Prince Harry and Meghan's royal wedding in Windsor was watched by 1.9 billion people, with the newlyweds greeted by cheering crowds during a carriage procession after the ceremony.
While the public got to see the service live on television, the reception was hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II at St George's Hall and later with a party at Frogmore House.
For her wedding dress, The Duchess of Sussex opted for an off-the-shoulder Givenchy gown by then creative director Clare Waight Keller.
Meghan changed into a stunning halter-neck gown by Stella McCartney for the evening reception, while Harry swapped his military uniform for a tuxedo.
Meghan's new collection that was released this week, encompasses traditional Champagne-style sparkling wine, handcrafted candles, warming beverage kits and curated gift selections, marking a significant expansion beyond the brand's original preserves and honey products.
This latest launch represents her first foray into home décor with ceramic candles, whilst the addition of mulling kits and festive bundles signals a strategic move into holiday merchandise.
The timing coincides with the approach of the Christmas shopping season, as the California-based brand continues to build on its initial success from earlier this year.
