A cardigan is one of those timeless layering pieces that can always add an extra touch of warmth and style to an outfit as the weather starts to cool, and shoppers are loving a new design from Marks and Spencer.
The cosy crew-neck cardigan is selling fast on the retailer's website, according to the Bristol Post. Priced at £30, it comes in two versatile shades: a hazelnut brown and a light grey.
Available in sizes XS-XL, the cardigan is made out of soft yarn - a machine-washable acrylic blend - it has a classic crew neckline, ribbed trims and tortoiseshell buttons. It pairs well with everything from jeans and wide-leg trousers to maxi skirts and dresses. Perfect for layering, it's an essential addition to any autumn wardrobe.
One happy customer said they "wanted a chunky cardigan for autumn and love this", adding they "wore it out with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath and a scarf," concluding it's "perfect for chilly days of autumn".
Another shopper who bought the cardigan in hazelnut said it was a "perfect autumn colour that will go with everything".
Others loved the cardigan's "lovely soft material," with one confirming it "has washed well" and "looks great with jeans".
Another review said the cardigan is "extremely comfortable and looks really smart".
Some shoppers pointed out the cardigan was on the shorter side, with one saying it was "a bit too short for me and I am petite". Conversely, another said they "especially like the length".
"The cardigan is lovely," another review read. "Thick, soft and cosy fabric, and it is also a nice length. Too many short cardigans out this season and this is just right."
