Princess Kate's younger brother has shared one genius way he ends arguments with his wife. Since marrying in 2021, James Middleton and Alizée Thevenet have seemed to be besotted with one another, as well as their son Inigo, who was born in 2023.

However, like all couples - especially when they are parents - this does not mean that arguments don't occur. While some couples exchange harsh words or go for the silent treatment, James, 38, said that instead, him and his wife opt for some exercise to clear the air.

As keen runners, the pair get their running shoes on and go for a jog when tempers flare, which seems to have worked well in their relationships so far.

Taking to Instagram with a video of Alizée running through the Alpine mountains, James wrote: "Ever since we met, Alizée and I have been running side by side.

"In fact, if we ever argue, running is our way of clearing the air (partly because neither of us can talk while we do it).

"More recently, it's been about running after Inigo but recently I planned this Alpine run and it might just be the most beautiful yet."

It is believed the couple enjoy holidays that involve plenty of time in nature, with James sharing the same love for the outdoors as his older sisters Princess Kate and Pippa Middleton.

It is believed the siblings and their families still spend plenty of time together, especially enjoying outdoor activities.

This is something they also reportedly did as children with their parents Michael and Carole Middleton.

Speaking to The Sunday Times last year, James said: "Growing up, we'd also head to the Lake District, staying in rented cottages around Coniston Water and Windermere.

"It's a very special place for us as a family, and the adventures we'd get up to as kids, from rock climbing on the crags to exploring the caves, were like something from The Famous Five."
