A post-apocalyptic Raccoon City is taking over the Battle Royale Island, as Epic Games and Capcom come together to offer Fortnite gamers some cool Resident Evil rewards. An exclusive character skin is on the way completely free-of-charge - although there is a catch.
Set around 30 years after the events of Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Requiem centres on FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, who is investigating a number of strange deaths at the spooky Wrenwood Hotel, the place her mother had died just eight years prior.
Little did Grace know she'd also be needed aboard the Battle Bus in 2026.
Yes, you read that right. Fortnite gamers will have the opportunity to build, battle and compete for Victory Royales as the franchise's new protagonist.
In a post on X, Epic Games announced the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem will reward players who pre-order directly through the Epic Games Store with some extra Fortnite goodies.
"Requiem for the dead. Nightmare for the living. Pre-purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store to get Grace's bonus DLC Costume: Apocalypse and the Grace Ashcroft Outfit in Fortnite in March 2026!" reads an Epic post.
Resident Evil Requiem is available to buy for £59.99 on the Epic Games store. Click here for more details.

This is not the first time Capcom have allowed one of their characters to be used in the hugely popular video game. Grace Ashcroft joins Leon and Claire from the remake of Resident Evil 2 in Fortnite, and if you've seen her design, it's safe to say she looks pretty bad ass.
It comes as the Halloween-themed event, Fortnitemares, is already in full swing having launched on October 9, and will run until the end of spooky season on October 31.
Fans of iconic horror franchises will be pleased to hear that Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th series has joined the game, alongside Ghostface from Scream.
The 'Grabber' villain from Black Phone is also in Fortnite, alongside Art the Clown from The Terrifier.
There's also a Fortnite Poppy Playtime collaboration, as well as a crossover with popular co-op horror game R.E.P.O, while rapper, singer and songwriter Doja Cat has two Icon skins. So much new stuff!
